一、什么是研究生

由于日本的教育体制与中国略有不同，日本所称的研究生并不是国内意义上的硕士，实际上只是大学、大学院的旁听生或履修生，很多时候我们也把日本的研究生定义为：硕士

预科生。日本的研究生编制不一定属于硕士生院，实际上很多日本大学把研究生划入大学部。研究生阶段很难申请到奖学金及学费减免。

申请研究生首先必须得到导师的肯许。日本大学里，导师对研究生以上学生的招生有非常大的决定权，如果事先没有得到导师接受的承诺，即使你直接向大学院招生处提出入学申请，大学院也不会根据你的情况为你指定专业或研究室。也就是说，在没有获得导师同意下，大学院不会轻易接受学生的单独申请。反过来，如果你已经得到导师的肯许，再通过导师向大学院提出入学申请的话，成功率将非常之高。

四，如何获得导师肯许
